Areas We Serve
Conrad Weiser Animal Hospital is located in Berks County and we are proud to call it home. If you are looking for a pet-friendly spot to take your dog for a walk (or swim), head over to Blue Marsh National Recreation Area, a lake located northwest of Reading. Another place where dogs are welcome in Berks County – and where you can hear some live music - is the Kutztown Folk Festival, the oldest continuously operated folk festival in America. Berks County is also home to the Pagoda, a century-old Japanese novelty building situated on Mount Penn in Reading Pennsylvania. These are just a few of the reasons that the Conrad Weiser Animal Hospital staff is happy to be a part of the Berks County community.
In addition to working with pet owners in our own area we provide veterinary care for pets in Lebanon County, probably most well known as the origin of Lebanon bologna, which was developed by the Pennsylvania Dutch. When you want to get your dog some outdoor exercise, you can go for a walk on the Lebanon Valley Rail-Trail, where you can see the area’s historical landmarks and experience an array of outdoor activities the region can offer. Lebanon Valley College is also here and is often ranked as one of America’s top regional colleges. If you are a pet owner in Lebanon County, we hope you will consider bringing in your dog or cat in for a wellness check!
Lancaster County has sometimes been called the Garden Spot of America, and is known by many as Pennsylvania Dutch Country. In addition to having a large Amish community Lancaster County is known for its sweet tooth, home to both the Wilbur Chocolate Company in Lititz Pennsylvania, and shoofly pie, a molasses crumb cake developed by the Pennsylvania Dutch. Lancaster County also boasts the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area, where you can take your dog for a hike on one of a dozen different trails that range in their difficulty. Conrad Weiser Animal Hospital would love to see new clients from Lancaster County come in for and welcome them into our family.
